It’s no secret Minneapolis has had a challenging time since the civil unrest periods of 2020-2021.
Great setbacks set the stage for great comebacks. We will be a part of that comeback by inspiring young entrepreneurs to lead the way.
They will know better and do better learning from mentors and connect with real investors.
Any person under 23 that attended any public school in Minneapolis is eligible to pitch their business. They must promise to grow their business in Minneapolis, and they must meet one of these two qualifications:
We are likely adding another category with a $5,000 prize for a public school graduate from the greater Twin Cities metro in 2024.
- $250 in business sales in the last 12 months
- Raised or saved $500 of their own money to start the business

All proceeds go directly to event costs and prize money for the young entrepreneurs.
No person will be paid for running or participating in this all volunteer annual event.
We will have snacks and drinks for the participants. After the event we will be going the the Lowry next door for networking.
